Summary: Make Printable Tickets with a Free Ticket Generator

A ticket generator creates printable admission tickets from a form. Here you enter the event name, date, time, venue, seat, price and a footer line such as ADMIT ONE, choose a color, and the ticket preview updates as you type. Set Number of tickets (1 to 100), then click Print / Save as PDF and choose Save as PDF as the printer. Every copy has its own ticket number, and an optional QR code can carry the details or a link of your choice.

It is free, has no sign-up and no watermark, and runs in your browser: nothing you type is uploaded (you can check the Network tab in DevTools). The tickets are plain printouts. They are not linked to a ticketing service, so for a paid event keep your own numbered list of who has which ticket.

Features of the Ticket Generator

  • Live ticket preview with a main body and a colored stub showing event, price and ticket number.
  • Up to 100 copies in one print. The screen shows the first three, and a line tells you how many more will print and the last number.
  • Random or custom numbers. The page starts with a random TKT- number, and the dice button makes a new one.
  • Optional QR code made in your browser, black on white at medium error correction, so it scans reliably on paper.
  • Readable colors. The event name uses your color only when it contrasts enough with white, and the stub text switches between white and black.
  • Print-only output with 10 mm margins; each ticket is kept whole rather than split across two pages.
  • Local date and time format. The date and time you pick are shown in your browser's usual style.

Not included: image or logo upload, barcodes, saved templates, and any sales or scan tracking. For a stand-alone code, use the QR Code Generator or the Barcode Generator.

FAQs: Ticket Generator Questions

How do I make numbered raffle tickets?

Enter the first number in Ticket number, for example RAF-0001, clear Section, Row and Seat so the ticket reads General Admission, set Number of tickets up to 100, then click Print / Save as PDF. Each copy gets the next number and keeps the leading zeros, so RAF-0099 is followed by RAF-0100. The number is printed on the colored stub.

What does the QR code on the ticket contain?

By default it holds the ticket number, event name, date, time and seat as plain text, so any phone camera can read it. You can replace that with your own text or a link under QR code content. When you print several tickets, the ticket number is added after your text, so the code is no longer a clean link. The code is not connected to any validation service.

Can I use these tickets to check people in at the door?

Yes, if you keep your own list. Print sequential numbers, record which numbers you sold or handed out, and at the door scan the QR code or read the number and tick it off. The generator does not track sales, detect duplicates or stop anyone copying a ticket, so it suits small events rather than high-value ones.

How do I save the tickets as a PDF?

Click Print / Save as PDF, then choose Save as PDF as the printer in the print dialog. Only the tickets are printed, one below the other, without the form or the rest of the website, and the ticket colors are kept even if your browser has background graphics turned off. Margins are 10 mm; paper size comes from the print dialog.

Is the event information I type uploaded anywhere?

No. Tickets and QR codes are created in your browser; nothing you type is sent to ZipConvert or any other server, and nothing is saved, so reloading the page resets the form. The only request involved is the page loading its own QR-code script from this site. You can confirm this in the Network tab of DevTools.

How do I print tickets with no seat number?

Leave Section, Row and Seat empty. The ticket then shows General Admission instead of seat boxes. Price is free text, so you can type Free, a currency amount such as $5.00 or any short label, and Footer text can say ADMIT ONE, VIP or anything else that fits.

How do I number seats along a row?

Enter the first seat number as digits, set Number of tickets, and tick Increase the seat number on each copy. Seat 12 with five copies prints seats 12 to 16, each with the next ticket number. The box is disabled while the Seat field is empty or contains anything other than digits, such as 12A.
