Summary

A calendar generator is a tool that builds the dates of a month or a whole year and lays them out ready to print. To make a printable calendar free and privately here, set View to Monthly or Yearly, type the Year (1 to 9999), pick the Month for a monthly page, choose what Week Starts on, and click Print / PDF. The calendar is calculated in your browser, and nothing is uploaded; you can check the Network tab in DevTools. Your device clock is used only to open on the current month, mark today and run the Today button. Your browser's language setting picks the default first day of the week and the weekend.

A monthly calendar prints on one landscape page with a blank box for every day. A yearly calendar prints all twelve months on one portrait page. To get a PDF instead of paper, choose Save as PDF as the destination in the print dialog.

The number of blank cells before the 1st is (weekday of the 1st โˆ’ first day of the week + 7) mod 7, counting Sunday as 0 and Saturday as 6. October 2026 starts on a Thursday (4), so a Sunday-first calendar leaves 4 blank cells and a Monday-first calendar leaves 3.

Features

  • Monthly and Yearly views. The Monthly view gives every day a box; the Yearly view shows twelve compact months, four across on a wide screen and three across when printed.
  • Any year from 1 to 9999. Type it, press the up or down arrow key to step it, or use the Previous, Today and Next buttons. Text that is not a whole year in that range is rejected and the tool keeps the last valid year.
  • Week Starts Sunday, Monday or Saturday, with a default taken from your browser's region.
  • Weekend shading on screen in the Monthly view, based on your browser's region (for example Friday and Saturday in Egypt) and Saturday and Sunday otherwise.
  • Print layout that fits one sheet. Landscape for months, portrait for years, with 10 mm page margins. The row height is scaled so a four-, five- or six-week month fits on one page.
  • Private by design. The only data used is the year, month and options you choose, your device clock and your browser's language setting, and none of it leaves your device.

Limits: no holidays, no event entry, no week numbers, no images and no file download other than the PDF your browser makes from the print dialog. If you want to count the days to an event, use the date difference calculator.

Who Can Use It

Families can print a month for the fridge, teachers can plan terms on a yearly sheet, and managers can draw up a rota on a Monday-first grid. Freelancers can pencil in invoice due dates after creating them with the invoice generator, and borrowers can write in each monthly instalment worked out with the EMI calculator.

Pair the calendar with the countdown timer for a deadline, the world clock or the time zone converter when a meeting spans countries, the age calculator for birthdays, and the timestamp converter to turn a date into a Unix time. For stickers to go with a wall planner, try the label generator.

FAQs

How do I print a monthly calendar for free?

Set View to Monthly, type the Year, pick the Month and choose what Week Starts on, then click Print / PDF. A monthly calendar prints on one landscape page with a blank box for every day, and the box height adjusts so months of four, five or six weeks all fit on one sheet. The controls and the rest of the website are left off the printout.

How do I save the calendar as a PDF?

Click Print / PDF, then choose Save as PDF (or Microsoft Print to PDF on Windows) as the destination in your browser's print dialog. The PDF is created by your browser, so the tool never sees it. Save twelve monthly PDFs, one per month, if you want to build a full wall calendar with a page for each month.

How do I make a yearly calendar that fits on one page?

Set View to Yearly, type the Year and click Print / PDF. All twelve months print on one portrait page, three months across, each as a compact grid with two-letter weekday headings. It suits planning holidays, school terms and project deadlines at a glance. For room to write in the days, use the Monthly view instead.

Can my week start on Monday or Saturday?

Yes. Week Starts offers Sunday, Monday and Saturday. On first load the tool picks the usual first day for your browser's language and region when the browser reports it, for example Monday in the UK and most of Europe or Sunday in the US, and you can change it at any time. The day columns and the blank cells before the 1st shift to match.

Which years can I make a calendar for?

Any whole year from 1 to 9999. A year is a leap year when it divides by 4, except century years that do not divide by 400, so 2000 had a 29 February while 1900 did not and 2100 will not. Years before 1582 use the Gregorian rules extended backwards, so they will not match historical Julian-calendar dates.

Does the calendar include public holidays or let me add events?

No. The tool prints a clean grid and does not know any national or religious holidays, and it has no field for typing events. Each day is a blank box meant for writing by hand after you print. Mark holidays, birthdays and deadlines with a pen, or use the yearly page as a planner.

Why is today highlighted, and will it print?

On screen, today's date is marked with a blue circle so you can find it quickly; untick Highlight today on screen to hide it. The mark is never printed, so a printed calendar has no date singled out. In the Monthly view, weekend days are shaded lightly on screen, using the weekend of your browser's region when it reports one.

Is anything uploaded or stored?

No. The calendar is calculated and drawn by your browser, using your device's clock to open on the current month and highlight today, and your browser's language setting to choose the default week start and weekend. Nothing is sent to ZipConvert or stored anywhere, and you can confirm that in the Network tab of your browser DevTools. Printing and PDF saving happen in your own browser as well.
